The objective of the Wool Art Festival is to promote and valorise wool and wool crafts.
Professional artisans and artists using wool or wool associated to another material in their work and products for clothing, (dresses, coats, jewels, scarves, hats, gloves…) or in home furnishing or decoration…will present and sale their products.

We intend to make this festival become a great “rendez-vous’ of wool innovation and creation around rough or transformed fibre.

We intend to develop exchanges between European countries and especially with wool textile designers and artists in order to promote the young generation of creators and help the renewal of wool treatment.

We aim at proposing a great international wool art festival during the 8th world merino conference which will be held at the Bergerie Nationale on the beginning of may 2010.
